Exports from Nepal at all-time high but as always soaring imports overshadow!

Exports reached an all-time high of Rs. 200 billion last fiscal and the growth is largely attributed to global inflation and rising USD against Rupee.
Hence, the record high exports have failed to make a dent in Nepal’s foreign trade gap.
Due to soaring imports of Rs. 1.92 Trillion, the trade deficit is at a staggering Rs. 1.72 trillion.
